For nearly 20 years, Salamander Designs® has been “Defining Original” in audio/video furniture. To us, “Defining Original” is more than just a slogan. It is a way of life. It permeates everything we do, and it’s a part of every piece of furniture we make. Our design philosophy encompasses a systems approach that fuses visual design, functional engineering, and advanced manufacturing processes to yield high quality results. Finished cabinets are built to order in the USA, and with our quick ship program most will ship within three days. Throughout our history we have designed highly flexible and customizable furniture solutions intended to offer a huge number of choices in materials, finishes, colors, fabrics, and performance options. By integrating such a high level of customization throughout our product line, anyone can become an active participant in creating their own unique furniture designs. It’s a pretty different way of looking at furniture design. Instead of “one-size-fits-all” everyone gets exactly what fits them.

Our original, custom VIP cinema seats inspired a marketplace full of imitations, and yet we’re still unmatched in true, custom luxury VIP cinema seating. Our reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and attentive, on-site service can’t be beat.
VIP Cinema specializes in theater seating for commercial as well as home theater. Every VIP Cinema order is handcrafted in the U.S.A., in our beautiful, state-of-the-art, manufacturing facilities in Tupelo, Mississippi. We run multiple vertical production cells, and all of our frames, fabric and seating foam are designed and cut using calibrated computer technology for guaranteed to-spec accuracy.

From 2001-2007, Flexsteel teamed up with emmy-award winning host and designer,history2000-today Christopher Lowell to create the Christopher Lowell Home Collection. In 2003, Flexsteel purchased DMI Furniture, Inc., a design, manufacturing and marketing company offering residential bedroom and dining room furniture as well as commercial office furniture. From 2004-2010, Flexsteel teamed up with Wrangler to produce the Wrangler Home Collection, a comfortable, relaxed collection designed to fit real life. Today, Flexsteel values fresh ideas and new technology. That’s one reason why Flexsteel is the most successful diversified seating company in the country, manufacturing seats for every use: residential, commercial, and vehicle. The year was 1944. Abram Albert DeFehr, a Russian born immigrant to Canada, began making simple wooden pieces in the basement of his Winnipeg home. Within a few years, the fledgling business had moved from the basement into a former chicken barn, which became Palliser Furniture’s first factory.

Today, Palliser Furniture Upholstery Ltd. is a leading North American furniture company with local manufacturing facilities in Canada and Mexico. These centrally and strategically located plants allow us to provide prompt, cost efficient service and delivery to our valued clients across the continent.
